In summer, the Passeier Valley offers a wide range of options for mountain lovers of all kinds – whether beginners, families or experienced mountaineers – there’s something for everyone. Thanks to our ideal location, many hiking and mountain tours start right on our doorstep. The start of the well-known Stuller Wasserfall via ferrata is easily accessible by bus or car in just a few minutes. With the free South Tyrol Guest Pass – Mobilcard, which you’ll receive from us on arrival, you can use all public transport and hiking buses in the valley conveniently and free of charge. The nearest bus stop is just a five-minute walk away. This means you can enjoy your holiday without needing a car at all.

Hiking delights and stops at mountain huts

Around 50 alpine pastures and mountain inns in the Passeier Valley invite you to stop for a bite to eat. It’s the perfect way to enjoy South Tyrolean specialities against a magnificent mountain backdrop. Highly recommended: a circular walk to the Stuller Mahder mountain meadows, past old farmsteads, through tranquil woods and flowering meadows.

Climbing, Rafting & Adrenaline

There’s plenty of sporting variety on offer at numerous climbing areas, such as the one right next to the Unterstuaner Hof in Stuls or at the Gasthof Bergkristall in Pfelders. Adventure seekers will be in their element with rafting, canyoning or kayaking on the River Passer. The Spiderpark high ropes course in Pfelders and the exhilarating descent on mountain carts also provide plenty of thrills.

Bad weather? No problem!

Even on rainy days, there’s never a dull moment in the Passeier Valley. How about a visit to the bowling alley or climbing centre in St. Leonhard, a relaxing afternoon at the St. Martin sauna centre, or a tour of one of the valley’s many museums?
