Our farm is situated at an altitude of 1,300 metres in the idyllic mountain village of Stuls, the sunniest spot in the Passeier Valley. Here you’ll find peace and quiet, fresh mountain air, virtually unspoilt nature and plenty of sunshine all year round – perfect for your holiday in the mountains at any time of year..
Whether it’s hiking, cycling or skiing in winter, the Jogglanderhof is the ideal base for your activities. Popular destinations such as Pfelders, the Timmelsjoch, St. Leonhard in Passeier or the charming spa town of Merano are quick and easy to reach.
The centre of Stuls, with its grocery shop, bars and restaurants, as well as the bus stop, is just a few minutes’ walk away. We provide our guests with the South Tyrol Guest Pass – Mobilcard free of charge, which allows you to use public transport for free. This means you can enjoy a relaxing holiday without a car, right in the heart of the mountains.

Experience farm life – a truly special holiday experience
A farm holiday in South Tyrol offers you the chance to experience your holiday with all your senses and immerse yourself in farm life.
Working with the animals shapes our family’s daily life and gives you the chance to discover rural life and work, get to know the animals on the farm, and sample the farm’s own produce. Come and watch us at work and experience our deep connection with nature.
Join in with the hay harvest, pick your own fresh herbs from the farm garden, or visit our little calves in the barn – here, you’ll create unique holiday memories whatever the season.
Our farm animals
Barn
Our guests are very welcome to visit us at the farm. It’s particularly exciting to watch the fresh milk being milked – a real treat for young and old alike.
Cows
On our farm, we keep Grauvieh cows, a hardy and sure-footed breed that is ideally suited to life in the high mountains. From spring to autumn, our cows spend a lot of time on the alpine pastures and the farm’s own mountain pastures. They are milked in the barn in the mornings and evenings. The fresh hay-fed milk is collected daily directly from the farm and taken to the dairy, where it is processed into high-quality and delicious dairy products.
Chickens
Our chickens and the farm’s own cockerel live where others go on holiday. They roam freely all year round, enjoying panoramic views of the mountains of the Passeier Valley. Happy chickens are the key to particularly tasty breakfast eggs and a healthy start to the day.
Pigs and turkeys
In the summer, we also keep turkeys and pigs, as we place great importance on producing our own produce. The welfare of our farm animals is very important to us, and we prioritise natural feeding. In their free-range enclosure in front of the house, our turkeys are usually the first to welcome our guests with their gurgling sounds.
Small animals you can touch
Our cats are very affectionate and love being stroked. They are well looked after, neutered and regularly dewormed. Our cats play an important role on the farm, as they catch mice and rats, thereby helping to keep the rodent population under control.
Our mountain meadows and pastures
The meadows around the farm are mown three times a year – for hay, Grummet and Pofl. We also manage species-rich mountain meadows, which are mown just once and are not fertilised. This creates valuable habitats teeming with flowers and herbs.
In spring and autumn, our cows graze on the farm’s own pastures. In summer, our cows spend their time at the Seeberalm in Hinterpasseier, a beautiful alpine pasture with a clear mountain lake and a popular destination for nature lovers.
Our cottage garden
From early spring right through to autumn, the flowerbeds and gardens around our house are ablaze with colour. In our lovingly tended cottage garden, we grow fresh vegetables and fragrant herbs, which we use in our cooking, for healthy teas and for our spice rack.
Our guests are also welcome to help themselves to the herbs and experience everyday farm life in the garden. Anyone who wishes to can watch us at work and see just how much joy and care goes into maintaining a garden that is close to nature.
Our forests
During the quieter months, we devote our time to working in our woods. We use sustainably sourced firewood to heat our house and provide hot water. This ensures that the energy supply chain remains short and environmentally friendly. In doing so, we take care to harvest only as much wood as can regrow, in order to protect our woods in the long term. Sustainability is part of our daily life here on the farm, as we make a conscious effort to use regional resources and treat nature responsibly.

Holiday flats in the Passeier Valley – Make yourself at home
In our historic farmhouse in the Passeier Valley, you’ll find two cosy holiday flats, lovingly furnished with plenty of wood, accommodating 1–4 and 1–6 people respectively. Whether you’re looking for a romantic break for two or a family holiday, here you can enjoy peace and quiet, a personal atmosphere and unforgettable moments in the South Tyrolean mountains.
The Hochwilde and Wasserfall flats each feature a kitchen-diner with a fully equipped kitchenette, a cosy sitting area, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a sofa, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi and a south-facing balcony with a table, chairs and sun loungers.
Bed linen, towels and other essentials are, of course, provided.
Holidays in the Passeier Valley – in spring, summer, autumn and winter
A farm holiday in the Passeier Valley is well worth it at any time of year. Thanks to the many hours of sunshine, you can enjoy spring, summer, autumn and winter to the full here with us.
For hiking enthusiasts, a dense network of varied walking trails, available all year round, offers something for the whole family and for all levels of ability. Set off straight from the farm to destinations such as the Eggergrubalm, Hochalm and Kuchlalm, or climb the Hohe Kreuzspitze. The former Schneeberg mine and the impressive Passer gorge trail Passerschlucht are also popular destinations.
Culture lovers can explore the region’s diverse museums and historic sites: the Pfistrad Alpine Museum, the BunkerMooseum, the historical farms Schildhöfe, Tyrol Castle near Merano, and Trauttmansdorff Castle with its famous botanical gardens.
The St. Martin Sauna Centre, the Merano Thermal Baths and, in summer, the outdoor swimming pool in St. Leonhard are all great places to relax and unwind.
In winter, you can enjoy skiing in the ski resorts of Pfelders or Ratschings-Jaufen, romantic winter walks to snow-covered alpine pastures, or a variety of winter sports such as ski touring and snowshoeing.
